Intercambio con Inglaterra

British Exchange

In March, a group of eighteen students from Eusebio da Guarda  ranging from 3rd ESO to 1st Bacharelato embarked to what would be an unforgettable week in England. The exchange has established links with the Stamford Endowed Schools in the beautiful town of Stamford.

Students enjoyed a week packed full of activities, including visits to places of interest within the town such as the three schools and the astonishing Burghley House  and further afield in the impressive Cambridge , the always surprising London and the historic Peterborough. There was also plenty of time for them to get to know more about family life, boarding houses and other cultural aspects of British society.

The boys and girls formed strong bonds with their British friends, learned lots of English and took part in some of their lessons.

As always, the exchange was a hugely positive experience due largely to the enthusiasm with which the students approached the challenges of living with a new family or in a boarding house in a new place. We hope to see many of them again on the exchange in years to come.
