IES Illa de San Simón

On 15th March, 2024, we had one of the most wonderful lessons of this school year. We gave a warm welcome to a special guest, a cosplayer called Sayumi, who also happens to be a former student. 

Sayumi gave an interesting lecture about cosplay. She described the process of costume design and the materials that can be used for special effects. She explained how to make props and costume armour and  provided practical and useful tips with regards to make-up, wigs and other accessories.

Finally, she spoke to our students about different cosplay events in Galicia and named some of the best cosplayers she has met.  She also displayed several cosplays she has made and talked about her future projects. 

 We are really thankful for her inspirational talk as she has set an example that will encourage our students to pursue their passions in life.
