Orange Juice

 We made fresh squeezed orange juice!

First we cut the oranges in half and then squeezed them with a manual juicer.

It was delicious!

 

 

Rain Cloud Experiment

After reading Little Cloud by Eric Carle and drawing our own clouds, we did a weather experiment:

rain clouds in a jar.

We used:

. jar ( we used a small plastic cup)

. water

. dropper

. shaving cream

. food coloring

First, pour water in the cup leaving an inch from the rim.

Next add shaving cream to the water. The shaving cream

represents a cloud.

Now simply add a few drops of food coloring to the shaving cream and let the magic appear! So beautiful!

Little Cloud by Eric Carle

In English class we read the book "Little Cloud" by Eric Carle. 

It's a very simple picture book, following one cloud through all kinds of shape changes.

After we read the book, the class of the "Tigers" went outside and looked at the sky. Then they drew the shape of the cloud they saw.

 

 

Then they made cloud paint using shaving cream with glue!

So much fun!
