Short Summary:
On the past 25th of October a review session to analyze the progress of the project Erasmus+ KA2, SFATE (Smart fFarm Training for Employment) took place, at the CIFP Polytechnic of Santiago. During the session, the final results of the project were also analysed. These results consisted on the creation of the smart farming portal.
The attendants to the session were: several teachers Galician agriculture vocational training centers, as well as staff of EFA Galicia Federation and the Galician Regional Ministry of Education, University and Vocational Training.
The Smart Farming portal is a tool that will offer multiple services related to Smart Farming, by targetting them to multiple profiles: students, teachers, farmers and businessmen. One of the main objectives of the portal is creating employment in the agricultural sector which is based on the usage of new technologies and the transfer of these innovations to rural areas.
