My advise to kids is to always follow your dreams.

Work hard for your passions in life.

An artist can paint different  kinds of paintings.

They paint people (portraits).

They paint places (landscapes).

They paint things (still-lifes).

 JOAQUIN SOROLLA : El pintor del mar ( Valencia 1863-1923)

Nació en Valencia y quedó huerfano a los 2 años. Se trasladó a vivir con sus tíos.

Su verdadera vocación fué la pintura.

Su pasión por el mediterráneo está visible en sus cuadros.

Dibuja escenas cotidianas de pescadores, mujeres y niños paseando o bañándose en la playa .

He was borned in Valencia and his parents died when he was 2 years old. He went to live with his aunt and uncle. His vocation was painting.

Sorolla feels passion for the Mediterraneo sea and this is present in his paintings.

He draws fisher men, women and children walking or swimming in the beach.

 His style was a variation of Impressionism, and he excelled in marine compositions involving brilliant sunlight effects.

• Used short, quick brush strokes.

• Used bright, luminous colors.

Viajó a París. Quería pintar como los modernos

Se mudó con su esposa Clotilde a vivir a Madrid.

Sorolla ganó muchos premios y triunfó con sus cuadros de la playa

Pintaba a los pescadores con sus redes y sus barcos de grandes velas , a las pescadoras que esperaban para poder vender el pescado, y a los animales : bueyes y caballos

Y tambien a los niños esperando y jugando y bañándose en el mar

Sorolla construyó una casa en Madrid. Con un taller para pintura y un bonito jardín.

La casa es hoy su museo. Casa museo Sorolla
