Architecture is the art of designing a building. Its root word Architect comes from the Greek word architekton, meaning "chief builder". Architecture is a structure that is planned for a purpose and there are many things to think about when designing a building.
There are a lot of architectural features in most of the ancient buildings that we could find nowadays. Let's discover them and try to identify them in some paintings later.
