Properties
Before using a material in our projects we should know its properties
We are going to study the following properties of the materials:
- HARDNESS: is a measure of its ability to withstand being scratched or cut.
- STRENGTH: is a measure of how good a material is at resisting being misshapen, or deformed, when acted upon by a force.
- ELASTICITY:is the ability of a material to resist a deforming force and to return to its original size and shape when that force is removed.
- RIGIDITY:the property of a material to resist deformation
- MALEABILITY:is the ability of a material to deform under pressure . If malleable, a material may be flattened into thin sheets.
- DUCTILITY: is the property of a material wich allow to be elongated or streched
- DENSITY: Is the ratio between mass and volume.
- THERMAL PROPERTIES
- ELECTRICAL AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIES
- OPTICAL PROPERTIES
