First graders have been learning about different textures in Art: hard, soft, rough or smooth. Then we have been finding out about textures in fruits or vegetables. Year 1 pupils have been designing their favourite house. While learning about the different parts of a house, they've created a house full of colours and with the plasticine techinque. Main, Guests and baby bedrooms with their ensuite bathrooms, the living room with all the accessories, the kitchen ready to cook and the garage with the car. Everything is ready to live in!!

Our students have been learning how to draw a portrait. 3rd graders have been drawing their classmates' portraits with the right proportion and with different emotions, and 2nd graders have been drawing their self-portraits with different shapes following the cubism approach

Our pupils have been doing different activities related to winter in their Art Classrooms. Beautiful snowmen, colourful winter gloves or creative snowflakes. We love all of them!

Last week 1st graders have been learning about lines and shapes. How to draw different things using straight, curved, wavy or zizag lines and shapes such as circles, squares, rectangles or triangles. As a final projectl they've designed a school using those kind of shapes and lines developing their imagination and creativity. Lovely, isn´t it? |
