Kathy: Hello, what's your name?

Andrew: Andrew Stevens. But you can call me Andy.
Kathy: OK! Hello, Andy. It's nice to meet you.

Andrew: Thanks, you too.

Kathy: Now, Andy. Do you like your school?
Andrew: Yes, it's quite big, the IT room and the lab are very modern and the gym is really well equipped.
Kathy: OK, and...What are your favourite subjects at school?

Andrew: Science, history and music. I like science because it explains the physical world, history because it's interesting, and music because I play the guitar in a band.

Kathy: Oh, that's nice! And when's your first lesson in the morning?
Andrew: Well, we have the assembly at 8 o'clock, and then, the first lesson at quarter past eight. At this school, you really must arrive on time to the assembly, because all group decisions are discussed then. If you bunk off the assembly, you haven't got a voice... and you get a punishment!

Kathy: Do you have lunch at school?
Andrew: Yes, my friends and I go to the canteen or bring a home-made sandwich.

Kathy: Uh-hu. And when do you finish school?
Andrew: Well... our last lesson finishes at twenty past three, but I have after-school lessons. I am in the Spanish club and in the photography club.

Kathy: OK, anything else you want to say?
Andrew: Erm... yes. The school is now on a green project, and we must recycle all plastic bottles, milk and juice cartons and always switch off the lights when they aren’t in use. I'm in charge of the project in my class.
Kathy: Oh, good for you! I see you're a very active person! OK, that's all for now. Thanks a lot, Andy.
Andrew: Thanks Kathy, bye!
